I work with troubled girls and some of them have poor hygiene and have never been taught to clean themselves after using the restroom. I have a case right now that I am having trouble with. How do I explain why she should use TP after using the bathroom. Is there a website or somewhere that I can get information and show her what can happen if she does not clean herself.

I’m a junior in highschool and we have an assignment to teach thrid graders about daily oral hygiene. It has to last about 45 minutes but I need activities that are fun that will both teach 3rd graders about oral hygiene and that they have a good time. I’ve been thinking but I need some ideas. I am currently in the dental hygiene program at Indiana University NW of Gary, IN, and have to have 65 before graduation. We have to find our own patients. The clinic offers a 50% discount to all college students as well as takes just about any insurance plan. However, I am new to the area and do not know very many people. How can I find patients?

My guidance counselor told me to go to a dental hygiene school first then move to a school that has a dentistry course, do i have to major in something first, i m kind of confused but so far ive applieed to schools that offer dental hygiene, then i am planning on continuing school and becoming a dentist

Because…I see commercials about becoming dental assistants all day,everyday but i don’t ever see any about dental hygienist.I also can’t find any 2 yr or community colleges that offer dental hygiene in TN.How can it be a growing career if its so hard to find a school to go to for it?

I’d really hope to be a dental hygienist,but I just don’t know about it anymore.It seems too difficult to get into.
