Wearing gold for men is a sin, in Islam. But what about for dental treatments?

I have the intention of becoming a dentist. I am worried about if a man needs to have a gold tooth for health or for fashion reasons. What should i do? Should i just put it in because it is their choice, or should i somehow say that i can’t put them in? I don’t know…. Help please

I am a bit confused by your question as to if you mean that would be going against YOUR religion or THEIRS. Either way, you bring up a GREAT point. Well, now a days, I have found that there are fillings that blend in with the teeth that look, in my opinion, better. Discuss with your future patients about the pros and cons of gold fillings. If they still insist on getting a gold filling, have another qualified dentist do it for you under your supervision. You could also go to the place where you practice religion and talk to the person who holds the ceremonies (i’m sorry, i don’t know what you call your masses and whatnot). Honestly, I think if it is strictly for business, no harm done. But, I’m not exactly the expert on your religion.
